links! Program for Graduates
Each spring, the links! program awards each young adult who is a survivor of childhood cancer a new laptop upon graduation from high school. The laptop is a vital tool in furthering their education and fostering independence.
This survivorship program is available to young adults whose families were served by the Lifeline and who have an Application for Family Services on file.
Bright Futures Scholarship Program
A limited number of scholarships, with amounts between $500 and $2500, will be awarded. This is a competitive process, and all requirements carry weight in the review process. The awards will be paid directly to the Institution of choice.
Eligibility:
• Were diagnosed before the age of 19 and prior to high school graduation
• Are under the age of 23 at the application deadline
• Are a legal resident of NH, or of VT AND received care for your childhood cancer at CHaD, AND are connected to or served by the Childhood Cancer Lifeline
• Have been accepted to attend / are attending an accredited Institution (University, College, Technical or Vocational School)
• Have completed the application process: remember to include your Student Aid Index (SAI) score from your FAFSA and a copy of your financial award from the Institution

Tools to Further Your Independence
The Lifeline wants to assist young survivors in reaching their educational and employment goals. Young adult cancer survivors aged 17-21 are eligible.
Applicants must be legal residents of NH, or of VT AND received care for your childhood cancer at CHaD, AND are connected to or served by the Childhood Cancer Lifeline with an Application for Family Services on file.
Examples of expenses funded by this program include vocational rehabilitation expenses, tutoring, assistive technology, and other approved expenses.
